Staying Comfortable on the Go: A Review of the Lé Bent Women’s Featherweight Hooded LS Crew

As an avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast, I’ve learned that staying warm and comfortable is essential for making the most of any adventure. Recently, I had the opportunity to test the Lé Bent Women’s Featherweight Hooded LS Crew on a guided hike to the glacier atop Chile’s Osorno Volcano with Hotel AWA. In this review, I’ll share my experience with this lightweight and breathable layering piece.

The Lé Bent Women’s Featherweight Hooded LS Crew is made from a signature Nuyarn® blend of 60% merino wool, 25% bamboo, and 15% nylon. This unique combination results in a lightweight, soft, and breathable fabric that’s perfect for outdoor activities. The crew neck design and hood provide excellent coverage and versatility, making it an excellent choice for a variety of conditions.

Performance and Features

During my hike, the Lé Bent Women’s Featherweight Hooded LS Crew performed exceptionally well. The fabric breathed beautifully, wicking away moisture and keeping me dry and comfortable throughout the day. The UPF50+ sun protection and odor control features were also appreciated, especially during the sunny moments when I wore the crew as a single layer. The lean silhouette and stretchy fabric provided a full range of motion, making it perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities.

Care and Maintenance

To keep the Lé Bent Women’s Featherweight Hooded LS Crew in good condition, I recommend washing it in cold water and laying it flat to dry. I’ve also washed it in hotel sinks during my travels, and it’s been easy to care for. The only suggestion I have for improvement is the branding on the front of the shirt, which could be more subtle.
