Introduction to My SNM Hair Salon Experience

After a brief hiatus from blogging due to an incredibly busy work schedule, I’m excited to share my latest hair care experience with you all. I recently visited the SNM Hair Salon, which is conveniently located just a few minutes from my home. In this post, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the service I received, the products used, and whether I would recommend this salon to others.

Background and Booking

I had been following SNM Hair Salon on social media for a while and was impressed by their work, so I decided to book an appointment with them. I opted for a wash, treatment, and blow-dry with a clip-in installation, as I had recently received my new clip-ins. Unfortunately, due to the salon’s proximity to closing time, I was unable to get the clip-in service done, but I was pleased that they promptly removed it from my final bill.

Shampoo and Treatment Process

During the shampoo process, the stylist mentioned that my hair was dry to the touch, which surprised me, as I had washed my hair just a few days prior using a strengthening conditioner and K18. The stylist washed my hair three times, which I appreciated, as it helped to remove any build-up. After the shampoo, I received a moisture treatment, and the stylist recommended an intensive steam treatment for an additional £5, which I agreed to. The steam treatment lasted about 20 minutes, and my hair felt incredible afterward.

Blow-Dry and Finishing Touches

After the treatment, my hair was detangled and blown dry in sections. The stylist used two Keracare products, which I was familiar with, and finished off the service with two plaits. While I was pleased with the overall result, I did feel that the stylist could have used a dedicated heat protectant and stretched my hair more before using the paddle brush, as I have 4c fine hair prone to breakage.

Verdict and Recommendations

Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely return to SNM Hair Salon for a wash, treatment, and blow-dry. The convenience of the location and the overall quality of the service make it a great option for me. However, I am still debating whether to try their silk press service or visit another salon. My service, which included a wash, blow-dry, and intensive steam moisture treatment, cost £65, which is comparable to what I usually pay.

If you’re looking for a salon in the Croydon area, I would recommend checking out SNM Hair Salon. You can book online via their website, which is a huge plus. I have a few more posts coming up, so be sure to stay tuned!
